Boxer Insane
Poor Max. That is horrible, I wonder what is the cause for them to keep coming back? Ginger had this twice and each time was bad, she needed medicine, maybe the same meds your Max is taking and she got a steroid shot, I think. Both times she was stung by a yellow jacket. In fact the 2nd time I never knew anything until I came home for lunch from work and saw her with the huge bumps and I flipped out! I was lucky to have an understanding and dog-lover office manager at the time. I called him and said I would be a little late due to what was going on. I know most employers don't really care, especially if they don't own a dog. I gave her a Benadryl, but when I came home she was no better and had to take her to the vet. I keep benadryl in the house just for her just in case. I have not heard of any other antihistamines you can use on dogs. Maybe someone else will know. Hope Max is doing better today and sending him positive vibes that he never gets them again.
