Mast cell tumor and lung tumor

This is the reason I actually joined here, this forum has more health info than any I have found(plus everyone seems so nice).
Lady(12 yr old boxer mix) was found to have a lung tumor about 3-4 inches on her left lung right lobe about two weeks ago, the reason she was there was to have a tumor on the left side of her muzzle removed(which we then found out was a mst,and because of the lung tumor we were advised not to put her under to remove).
We have opted because of her age and the size and location of the tumor that making her comfortable was our best option. She is now on prednisone and pepcid, but the tumor on her face is now growing faster than ever and she seems so weak. Two weeks ago before we found out she ran around and played for a little while now she seems out of breath constantly and just lays around. She still seems happy and eats well.
Also the mst is ulcerated and breaks open and bleeds once and a while.
Has anyone had any expirences similar to this and helpful advice on what signs she might when she is in pain or uncomfortable. I think I am biased to see her happy and if I had some points of reference as to how she might act if in pain it might be easier to judge. Thanks for listening I'm sure I've rambled enough.

I'm sorry that I don't have any advice to offer or experience with this, but Ty and I are sending Lady lots of healing vibes! Ty is sending her big, sloppy smooches to help her feel better!

I'm afraid that I don't have any experience either. :( I am so sorry that Lady has cancer. I hope that she will be with you for a long time. I am sending positive healing vibes your way. Hugs to Lady!

I am so sorry for the place you are in.......
I have not actually lost a pet to the same circumstance.
Daisy (Beagle/terrier mix) died in her bed at 18 years.
Katie the FIRST was PTS at 4 months.....she was suddenly very sick, it was thought to be Parvo and within a day she was a "vegetable" - such a pretty little girl, we chose to let her go.
Our second Boxer, also named Katie was a few weeks shy of her 13th birthday when she was suddenly stricken with vomiting blood - it was thought she had a ruptured blood vessel in her stomach. At her age, she was a bit senile, afraid of the vet and the prognosis was for transfusions at an emergency vet....and surgery for a perforated blood vessel in the stomach at a later point. We felt it was time to let her go......nothing but fright and pain in her immediate future.
I think one of the most helpful suggestions I can make is to decide how to help Lady live out her last days feeling loved, comfortable and cared for - she will tell you when she's had enough.
You have my heart........and empathy for what you're going through.

I'm very sorry Lady is sick..my Bella will be having surgery this morning to remove a lump on her leg, it too bleeds on occasion which is why the dr wants to remove it as quickly as possible...sending hugs to you and healthy vibes to Lady!

I am sorry that Lady is sick. I haven't been through what you are going through, so I don't have any experience to offer, but we wish Lady and your family the best.

Thank you all so much Lady can use all the healing vibes she can get, I'm just not ready to lose her.
She goes back to vet the first week of Nov. to check the size of the lung tumor and I want to see if we can possibly do something about the tumor on her muzzle.
Thank you all again for your kind words.
