Many thanks to the BW community - from a new boxer dad

We decided to get a dog about 10 months or so ago. Didn't know that much about them beyond the ASPCA dogs we both had as kids so we read a bunch of books, talked to folks, went to dog shows, and all that. Learned a lot and settled on boxers when one came up and gave my wife lots of boxer kisses at a dog show.

As all of you know, being a new parent, skin or fur, is a pretty scary thing, especially without knowing what's going on. Ignorance is not bliss - at least when it comes to parenting. So many things not covered in the books. BW has been spectacular in filling in the gaps and adding to the non-gaps. Literally dozens and dozens of questions answered by very knowledgeable folks. I look forward to giving some back as I become more knowledgeable (the better half has most of the knowledge for the moment).

So in conclusion: You guys rock, thanks, you've helped me tremendously, and happy new year.

I agree that you can find out anything you need to know about boxers on this site. And rest assured that there is always someone else here who has gone thru the same trouble you are having at the time, no matter what it is. I've yet to be let down during a time of need by fellow BW people.
