Mange Common??????

My white boxer,Mable, was diagnosed with demodex and she underwent treatment through mytoban baths. It helped but now she gets very red and stratches and cries. When I bathe her it seems to help some but not for long. Has anyone found something to help the red, itchy skin?

When you mention "mitaban baths" (dips) and then when you "bathe" her - you don't mean bathe in mitaban do you? That stuff is a serious chemical poison and almost certainly the cause of the problem.
If this reaction is bad enough that the dog is crying, you should take her to a vet. She may end on steroids and/or antibiotics. Whatever else happens though, you should not let that stuff anywhere near her again.
Mitaban is toxic to the point that it works by process of elimination - either the mites or the dog will succumb (and it is not always the mites that give way first :( ) It has been removed from the market before (removed voluntarily, before it was banned) and should only ever be considered as an absolute last resort for generalised mange cases. It is like using a nuclear bomb to combat acne if you use it on a dog with only localised mange (meaning the cure is far far worse than the disease).

today was not a good vet visit he has demodex and is going to be on the mitoban for who knows how long the vet says it is a bad case and this is his second time being infected... what is a good food to keep his immune system up during a time like this???? i wish there was just a way to snap your fingers to just make it all go away but it isnt seeming there is...he has all the bad luck..he is easily getting sick he seemed so healthy i dont know where we went wrong...well hopefully it goes away before this bottle of stinky medicine is empty...the other puppy wasnt as serious she only has ring worm she has a two week shampoo to use and vet says the demodex isnt spreadable to the other puppy...so good news somewhat today...well our baby in your prayers and hope it all goes away i feel so bad for him...
