Male Boxer names (white)

okay everyone I need some help. If I am lucky enough to be choosen to adopt a male white boxer I need a great name. My daughter and I sat at Ruby Tuesday's tonight thinking about names. Here are the ones we came up with...

1) Domino
2) Houston (that was our waiters name)
3) Hooch

My other baby was named after a Tom Hanks movie, Madison from Splash so that's why we kind of liked Hooch:p I have a thing for movie names. My daughter was named after Chelsea Thayer in On Golden Pond and my son was named Jake after the movie Sixteen Candles.

Throw some idea's our way if you see fit. And say a prayer that we are blessed in August with a new (rescue ) boxer.

Anakin (if your a Star Wars kind of girl)

Gus (the little mouse in Cinderella)

He-Man (because my fiance thinks that would be the best male boxer name)

Are you thinking you want to keep the movie theme or play off the white?.....I know there is another current thread someone trying to name their white (female) boxer, if you want to take a look the only male white boxer name I can think of is "salty"

Ohh man..... my husband LOVES boxer names, like "Lennox" or "Ali"... Problem is -- we adopted a precious little girl, so we needed a GIRLIE name to go with!

I won that battle, and her name is Madeline :D

Of course, I had to promise him that her future (male) Boxer brother will be named Lennox.

I also like the name "Rocco" -- but we may save that name for a future skin kid.

My daughter and I were talking about boy dog names just yesterday. We said if we ever had a big white dog we would name him

TOBY. we also like TUCKER
They seem to be strong male names.

My 2 favorite names are deeohgee (DOG) or if I where to get a male right now I'd name him Mango, after the Saturday Night Live skit. It would fit a boxer to a T because they both do the little butt shake/kidney bean dance!

Joni- I love the name Tucker but it makes my daughter cry. We had to give up our Chessy because of hugh health problems. I couldn't afford to keep him because of my divorce. Tucker was my daughter's very best friend, he followed her everywhere.

Courtney323- We reviewed professional boxer names and the only one I really liked was Sugar which is white and for Sugar Ray Leonard.

Colleen- I love the name Phoenix but it too has bad memories. When I was working for the Shelter in Arkansas I helped try and nurse a 2 week old kitten named Phoenix back to health. I was up every two hours with the kitten and the next day I passed the little baby on the the next helper. Well he died that night and it made me so sad.:(

Julie: Salty is one of the names that came up last night in conversation. Makes me think of an old sailor.:p August is a real possibility. I have a cousin named Auggie because he was conceived in August.

I really like the name "Salty"... "Domino" is cute, too, especially b/c it's a brand of sugar. Of course, I'm going to suggest my all-time favorite name of "Avery"... it could be a male or female name, which is why I suggested it for the post looking for a white female name. Good luck! -Jen

I just went to www.babynames.com and typed in white and got a bunch of names, I would check it out
