The link didn't take.
I cannot imagine just getting rid of a dog because a baby is coming. Especially one as problem free (if you believe them) as this. Did they say if they have done any training with him? I sure hope he doesn't end up a stud. Someone in Indy should get him and take him to the Indianapolis Boxer Rescue.

that is so sad how easily they can discard such a great dog. I can't imagine not giving it a chance. I sure hope this works out for a great family.

I think it so sad they are giving him that easily. I hope he listens to the information he was send regarding whites. I emailed him the local boxer rescue information. In case he can't find a home for him. I worry some horrible person will take this baby in. I would take him if we were closer.

People like that piss me off. We're having a baby so we are getting rid of our dog. Stupidity. Did they not realize that at some point in their lives a baby might be an option? WTF?! In addition they are obviosly uneducated on the breed which irritates me to no end. This poor guy, I hope that he has found a forever home, one where he never has to worry about being thrown out.

Good luck to anyone who does get him, I mean if it is someone from this site. I'm sorry about the BYB thing. Hank would be considered a BY Boxer. I would never let him breed, but that is how he came about. If I lived closer to this little guy, I would take him in a heartbeat. I would take the responsibility that comes with him also since he is a BY Boxer. I just hope he goes to a good home, not some crazy nut who sees $$$$.

My husband and I have a child and 2 dogs and a cat and a lizard. It never ceases to amaze me the stupid reason people want to get rid of animals. If this dog is as good as they bragged him up to be, it is well worth the try to see if the baby and him can get along. Maybe I am old fashioned or maybe its just the fact that I grew up living on a farm, but I feel that all kids deserve the chance to grow up with a dog. My husband is in the military and has been gone alot of our 8 year old daughters life. I couldn't imagine my daughter not having a dog, to be able to tell her inner most feeling to. I would try it rather than jumping the gun

Has anyone heard back on this one? We are open to another if the right situation (not aggressive, children friendly, etc.) comes along.
