Lump on Mason's shoulder

I noticed a lump on Mason's left shoulder the other day and thought it was the beginning of hives since he had counter surfed and got into a few things he shouldn't have. It hasn't gone away so now I am nervous. I have his appointment for his yearly exam Monday at 4:00...I just can't help but get nervous. Can I please get some of those awesome Boxerworld vibes to help us and make sure it is nothing? Thanks in advance - Mason & I really appreciate it!

Sending some boxer loving positive vibes to Mason.
We just went through this with 2 of our babies. Caesar had a small lump on his shoulder and I was so nervous about it, so i made the appointment for a check up and just a week before Brandi had gotten on on her neck incredibly small. Caesars turned out to be nothing and I was so sure it was, but the little small one on Brandi turned out to be a mast cell tumor. She had it removed Monday and is doing fine.
This isn't to make you worry more but to say I know what fear you are feeling. I am glad you made the appointment so soon you can never be too protective when it comes to lumps and bumps on boxers. Hoping it's the same thing as Caesar's....nothing
We will be pulling for ya.
I'll be looking for that update on Monday

Thank you everyone for the positive vibes - you guys are great!!! We just got home from the vet. The vet felt it and said it doesn't seem to be a tumor but he wants me to keep a close eye on it since he wants to stay on top of this since Mason is a boxer. My goldens all had tumors at some point and they felt differently than this so I am hoping this is nothing. He said it could be the result of a bug bite that is taking a little longer to heal or even something like an ingrown hair or a small cyst. Needless to say I will be watching this closely and if it doesn't seem to go away soon we'll be back at the vet for another look.

Other than his ear infection, everything's great. Mason got his new mummy cuz as a treat when we got home - although he isn't showing much interest yet. Sometimes it takes him a while for a toy to grow on him.
