Well, Lucy is about to be 8 weeks and we have had her for a couple of days.
I have always wanted a boxer of my own, after having Madi May for a family pet.

You would never think you would fall in love with a dog so much or a certain kind of breed, but they really are just so wonderful.

I catch myself starting at her and thinking and hoping she will turn out to be a good dog. Then I quickly get back to reality because she is going pee-pee on the floor.

My boyfriend and I got her together and I have to say it will either make your relationship better or worse. Getting a dog is NO JOKE! It really is like having a baby. She has made us really happy... I really think Lucy Lu will help us grow stronger and closer as a couple and learn how to communicate better as humans. :) Weird how a little tiny pet, who goes pee-pee a lot can do that.

But for now, we look forward to all of the fun things we can do with her...the walks, the park, new toys and hopefully meeting Auntie Madi May.

Boxers truly are the best, most beautiful dogs.
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful little puppy.

-Off to clean up some pooh-pooh.

Thanks for all the welcomes and wiggles!
In our Boxer family we call it "Wigglebeans"

A little stressed the last couple of days, but not because of Lucy. She is great. Thank goodness for her. I swear when you are having a bad day at work or lots going on in your human life, that little wigglebean comes running around the corner, licks your toes and it all melts away.

I have to admit, the crate training could go a little smoother...so we are going to try a couple of more tricks. I think she is just lonely and cold, believe it or not. We have a snuggly pad in there, but I don't think it is enough. I am going to get her a little blanket today and see how that does and maybe a pad or pillow with a little more cushioning.
But she is happy and getting adjusted to the house.
Trotting and bouncing around and finding her bark.
Happy to be a part of the boxerworld family!!!

Wigglebean waggles,
Lucy's mom, Ally
