Hi folks, My name is MJ I have a 8 year old female fawn boxer named Jezebel, my wiggle butt. I have had 2 other boxers. A male that lived 7 years before a brain tumor took him and a 5 month old Houdini that climbed a 5 ft fence and got hit by a car the first time she was in the backyard by herself for 10 minutes. I think boxers are the best family dog anyone can ask for. I tell people if you want something to show alittle protection get a male, if not get a female. Ether way a boxer is great with children.
My male would go the the elementary school and see the kindergartners and so them how sweet a big dog could be. He also went to the veterans home and see the old folks. I don't know which he enjoyed more. It hurt our whole family when he had to be put down.
My Jezebel is beyond rotten. She has a weight problem like her owner. Like most boxers she loves her food. All you have to say is COOKIE and you have all her full attention. She is very layed back unless there is a storm. She hates storm ever since Hurricane Katrina, We got alot of wind and thunder. I work at home so she is a velcro dog. Her best buddy is our outside dog a GSD and a feral cat, that only she can get close to. Well that us, glad have found this forum.
