looking 4 a breeder in so ME or NH

We are looking for a breeder in the southern Maine or New Hampshire area. Would like a pet quality female pup on a spay contract and limited AKC registration to raise underfoot with lots of love in a home with 2 small children and Persians. I am also interested in perhaps certifying in therapy dog work as we are interested in bringing our pup to local nursing homes on a monthly basis along with our Angora rabbits. thank you Olly! I went and looked at the current breeders listed and there is no-one in the area I am able to drive to but I will continue to check back there since I noticed they are currently updating and adding more breeders

Hi Mel,

Not being on that page doesn't mean the breeder doesn't do health testing, but it will help you to ask questions about it to your breeder before getting a puppy. There will be more explanation on that page soon. The tests are important. Just take a look on the dog health issue forum, there are several sad stories because of bad breeding like the one at http://www.boxerworld.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13720

Vmanfuso: you are just another true back yard breeder who was already banned. There are some other boards full of BYB where you can sell puppies. Here, we don't want people like you who can't even read the rules.
