We have ice on one part of our sidewalk and Mali has learned to drift the turn when doing her little Boxer burn back to the house. She has not slid on her belly, though. Oh, the visual.

Bella does the Bambi spin too! Last night it was just starting to snow and our driveway still has some patches of ice. She was high tailing it back from the barn and when she ran across the driveway she did a little skid. All I could do was tell her that I really didn't need a vet bill I can't even imagine what a Boxer with a broken leg in the winter would be like!
