My Grandmother lives in Iowa now, she and my Great gramdmother and her father came to the states when she was a teenager. I love the name Daphne too-such a feminine name(it SO doesn't suit my boxer)!!
My great grandfather and his brother were living in US for all their life .They left from Greece when they were 17 and 20 years old ,my great grandfather came back to Greece when he was 73 years old and after 3 years he died (then i was 8 years old)
His brother had never come back to Greece ,he had lived and died in US.They had not children.
