Uno--

I just meant that I don't have a job at which I get paid with money. College is definetly hard work if you're serious about it. Trust me, I am. I also volunteer with boxer rescue and that takes a lot of time. But, that isn't really work to me. I do it because I love it.

On the question of being a genius or going to an easy school....I like to think it's the former! :D

Nissy,

No offense intended, I hope none was taken. I assumed that's what you meant. Please don't think that because you're not getting paid to do something that it's not work. I'm one of seven children with a Mom that stayed at home. I wouldn't, for one moment, think of saying that because Mom didn't bring home a pay-check she didn't work. She easily worked as much as my Dad, and I can never remember a time, while I was growing up, when he didn't have at least 2 jobs, if not 3.

Work to live

Definitely work to live :(

I am considering looking for a Sugar Daddy...but, I want one that will admire me from afar and won't mind Boxers :D Seriously....I have had a continuously job since I was 14 years. I don't mind working so much, although I am getting a bit resentful that it takes so much time away from my baby dogs. I work to afford dog food and shelter. Maslows hierarchy of needs, baby!

Remember folks, lots of us who are exempt work long hours with no opportunity for overtime. Exempts may have a fancy title, but some non-exempts make more by overtime alone.

Oh to win the lottery :)

Hi Nissy:)
This year i decided to study the English language.I have done this as hobby and i enjoy it :) (i just turned 40 years old),but with all these books on my desk with exercises about verbs, prepositionssmashicon, phrasal verbs(i hate these),conditionals(i hate those too)smashicon i'm sure a study is more difficult than work.
Anyway i work to live and i take Avra at my work every day:)

I studied the Greek language my last year of high school. I wish It would have been offered more than one year. It is so cool because my grandmother is greek and sometimes we converse on the phone in Greek. I remember when I was little she would speak in and say prayer and it was always so intriguing to me. I would love to to to Greece some day , my grandmother has told me the most wonderfull stories.

I think if I could take Ali to work with me I wouldn't mind if I had to do more than a 40 hour week, but until then, I just can't wait to get back home to her!! I've just this week started a new job, and almost everyone there has kids - they must all think I'm nuts talking about my dog like my "baby", but none of them have boxers!

My Grandmother lives in Iowa now, she and my Great gramdmother and her father came to the states when she was a teenager. I love the name Daphne too-such a feminine name(it SO doesn't suit my boxer)!!:)
