Laying out in the sun

Funny, that's where Major is right now. I was outside with him for awhile, but decided to come in. He's laying in the middle of the back yard, sleeping. I just looked out the window and there are a family of sparrows on the bird-feeder and a few pecking seed off the ground all around the dog! He won't move for nothin'!!!!

yep, that's where my three are right now. Laying out in the sun! I even have a pic of Simba in my gallery of him sun bathing. Must be nice being able to lay around all day!

Doesn't "Boxer" mean "sun goddess"?? :p My 2 will squeeze into the smallest patch of sun they can find! Sometimes they will have a little rift about who will get the sunny spot, then they settle on the fact that they will have to share, and snuggle together in their little patch of sun!

Mine too, Mine too...Jasmine and Hailey do the same exact thing. Now since the weather had warmed up I'll leave the back door open so they can go in and out on the enclosed deck. I've got a loveseat and 2 chairs (patio set) and they will both get up on the couch to sun together. If the sun hasn't quite made it to the couch yet, one of them will lay in the chair. When they get too warm they will come in and plop down on the cool tile in the kitchen. It's just too cute how they love the sun so much.

Ares is already starting her tan! The sun is out nice today and she was laying in my garden soaking up the rays this morning while I was on the porch!
When we came inside she layed on the front room rug soaking up the rays from the window........she loves the sun!

Yes...Coco loves to sunbathe. She looks so pretty too as her stripes just shine!

Why is that? My puppy loves the sun. When we're in the car driving around, he sits on the side where the sun is. When the sun moves to the other side, he moves there as well.

When I go home during lunch from work, I let my puppy out of his crate and he runs directly to the sun.

When it gets very hot outside, do they still sit in the sun? (I wouldn't know just yet because my puppy is only 4 months). We haven't experienced extreme heat yet.

Jack, Avery and Indy all love the sun. They are worshippers. We also have 2 cats that love the sun also. It is not unusual to find all 5 of them squeezed into even the smallest sunbeam!

Diezel loves the sun, he takes his blanket out of his Dogloo and drags it out to the same place every morning. Right in the middle of the back yard in the sun!!! The grass is a little damp in the mornings, so he takes his blanket or a towel (Stolen from the spa top) out there!!!

Zzzzzz for hours!!!!

On a nice days, I come home to see their blanket and toys outside (doggie door) and 2 little monsters catching rays. Nestle is quite the Sun Goddess and Porter takes after his big sis!!
