Kiddie Pools

Mason LOVES the kiddie pool, we have to force him to get out and come in the house. Aspen HATES it and looks at Mason as if he is crazy

Rocky loves his pool! He likes to search for toys in the water and them come up for air blowing water out of his nose. This seems to amuse my children and their friends. They all scream that his "snot" touched them, then they beg him to do it again!

Well, Simba wouldn't get in the kiddie pool at first when I brought him home. But after seeing Sage my female MinPin jump right in he finally got the nerve to try it. He still would rather drink from it than get in it but when I put ice cubes in it or his fav toy then he'll jump in for awhile then out he comes. I've still haven't tried him around a pond or lake to see if he'll go in those yet. It'll be interesting.
Maybe afterwhile they'll get used to it, but like you said at least they'll have plenty of water to drink!

Give your pup time. When we first got Vixen her pool, she didn't care too much for it, except to drink out of it. Now she comes running to the door with a wet back, and we know she took a dip!! We actually moved the pool to an area that doesn't get as much sun, and it is right near the window of out computer room - so sometimes when we are out playing, I knock on the window so hubby can see her "swimming" !!

Apollo loves kiddie pools. We haven't gotten him one yet, because we are still trying to establish grass in our backyard and this carolina red clay is absolutely horrible. But we go down to our neighbors that has one, and he loves it. He tries to bite at the water.
