Kiddie Pools

Ok, I finally had a chance to get Evie & Adam a kiddie pool. I keep reading on BW that the furbabies just love them. Well, mine babies think it is a BIG water bowl!!! They will absolutely not get in the pool!!! LOL It was pretty hot this weekend. So, I let the kids get in. I even put Adam in the pool. He promptly jumped out. Evie runs if she thinks you are gonna put her in the pool (maybe she thinks its a bath- which she hates!!)

O-well, at least they have plenty of water when they are outside!

Saffie is like this too she won't go in them coz she thinks it's a bath but she'll go in the sea but only up to the belly, she is too scared to swim!!!!!

I haven't tried one of these yet since we've had Quinsi so I don't know if he likes them or not. Gunner HATED the one I got him last year. I picked him up and put him in it.. he promptly jumped out

I have one that loves it and one that doesn't. My female, Marine loves it she would stay in it all day and just splash and paw at any toys we put in. My boy, Caspian will walk around it and drink from it but you can't get him in it. Sometimes when she is splashing around she gets hold of the squishy football we put in and she actually hikes it right through her back legs HAHAHAH along with alot of water. Well sometimes Caspian gets splashed as he is walking around the pool. He then decides to go and lay in front of the door in hopes we will let him back in the house. I guess he's telling us he's had enough. They are too Funny!!

Tessa will go in her pool if I lure her with the right toy.
Once she gets in she just jumps in and out all day. The funniest is when she make the pool part of her boxer burn course.
She would much rather spend the day attacking the hose or sprinkler then playing in the pool.

Does it seem like a "rule" that if they don't like baths they won't like kiddie pools? I was hoping to get a kiddie pool to try to get Tess more accepting of baths. From what you all have said, it sounds like the ones who don't like baths, don't like pools either. Oh well!

I'd love to see a picture of this football hike! Sounds hilarious!

Roxy loves her's...sometimes I put some icecubes in there for a little game...she grabs them and throws them out...its so cute !!!!!

My Roxy HATES her pool. I fill it up for her when its hot and she will drink out of it-then ignore it. I wish she would go in to cool off but she just won't. It's really funny. Her brother Harley (lives 2 doors down) LOVES it. Go figure!
