I hope that Kerouac is doing better. Don't give up. He can beat this. I'm sending lots of positive ((((((((healing))))))))) vibes Kerouac's way, and Skye sends lots of wiggles, too. My angel Cadence will send lots of angel love from Heaven, too. Hang in there, Kerouac. You'll feel better soon!

our baby is coming home tomorrow!!!!
kerouac has made a complete turn-around since yesterday. i took some chicken breast with me to the hospital yesterday and he just dove right in and gobbled it up...AND KEPT IT DOWN!!!! this morning they called to tell me that he was jumping around in his crate and his little body has stabilized. we get to bring him home tomorrow evening
today i went to visit him and they let him out of the isolation room. they brought him to me and he ran in wagging his tail and i got lots of slobbery puppy kisses (those are the best)! even though the little guy has lost a lot of weight, he is such a trooper and we can't wait to fatten him up! i must say, i don't know if it's the fact that they are boxers and we all just love our pups, but the doctor and all of the staff told me that they wish all of their patient's parents would check up on their little babies the way we did. we are so grateful to them for taking such good care of kerouac and thank you for your kind prayers and words of encouragement. we will keep you posted on our fabulously brave (and adorable) kerouac!

Oh Amy, that's wonderful news. You did it Kerouac! Your baby boy is quite the trooper and I bet he'll feel even better once you get him home. Isn't it great when they're excited to eat after refusing food for so long and then finally keep it down? He'll be back to a healthy weight in no time. What happy news! Can't wait to hear about his improvement day by day.
