Kailee whines most of the time now..and advice?

I have been plagued with the same problem of Pucker’s whining. Since she came home from her week stay from the vet she’s been whining more. She’d be on the couch with her head on my leg and let out a deep sigh, then whimper then the slow whining. It’s like she’s depressed. My husband and I thought it was because with this new diet it may be hard on her and she might be having tummy problems that are causing her to do this. We already have Max so she has a brother to keep her company. We’ve been worried and babying her. We don't know what to do.When you find the answer, PLEASE SHARE!!!

It sound like Kailee may have become a Drama Queen.

There's this gal in my office with so many problems... I've always tried to sympathize, support, and understand her multitudes of problems, because she's a wonderful person and I really care about her.
Well, I was doing some reading about personality types this weekend, and there she was in black and white, a classic Drama Queen! The article said the worst thing you can do is feed into their dilemmas, even if you have good intentions. It just makes them more miserable (and you too!). They suggested humor instead, anything to lighten it up and get their mind off themselves and their problems. It was quite an eye opener for me!! Maybe it would work with Kailee, too.

Nino whines all the time but he only whines at me. I know he does it for my attention because if I'm working he doesn't do it but as soon as I get on the computer or sit down to watch T.V., he sits in front of me and just whines. He does the same thing when he is ready for me to go to bed at night. I have noticed that I'm the only one he does that to because I usually give in to what he wants. He never whines at my husband or daughter. I just can't ignore him. With Kailee it may be a combination of the extra attention and I'm sure she still misses Buddy.
