He's 4 months old and weighs in at 26.2 pounds! Everyone that sees his paws says he's going to be big.. is that heavy/normal for a 4 month old pup?? He's got tons of energy and we go for daily runs.

Thanks,

Hi! I'm from just north of you in Foster City!

My pup will be 15 weeks on Wednesday and he weighs about 28lbs, so your guy sounds just about right to me :)

As far as weight goes they both sound a healthy weight to me.
Boxer pups have a way of growing in their own individual way so it's hard to say whether or not a pup is of "normal" weight, but as I said they sound healthy to me. :)
Just on another note, how much running are you doing with your pup?
A lot of people recommend limiting "forced" exercise particularly until a pup is closer to being fully developed.
Forced exercise, particularly on hard surfaces, can be detrimental to a growing pups bones & joints.
Might be something you want to look further into.

Sounds like your puppys weight is right on track. Victor is 15 weeks old and weighs 27lbs.

Furio is 5 and 1/2 months old and weighs 46 pounds. Our previous boxer never weighed over 50 pounds as an adult. It appears they can have a wide weight range and still be healthy

Sounds like about the right weight.

Don't put too much stock in that "big feet = big dog" theory. My Maggie was the largest dog in the litter, larger than the males. She had ENORMOUS feet and no one really wanted her because they all thought she was going to be HUGE!

But, as it turns out, she is 68 lbs and fully grown now. She's pretty standard in size and proportion EXCEPT -- she STILL has enormous feet!! :) :)

Ok, I've read all about weight and stuff in boxers and I know that they don't reach fully grown until about 2 or 3. So my question is....Clara's a year and about 2 months old and weighs 45 lbs today. Do they have any growth spurts after a year old or is she just going to be small?

Clara was about the same weight as your webber at about 4 months so that sounds normal to me. And she had HUGE paws when we got her at 8 weeks and she's pretty small for her age, if you ask me.
