Az Boxr Lovr
Boxer Insane
I am just beside myself with excitment! First of all, has everyone noticed that I finally have an avatar now?! That's Joe. As some of you know, we drove to AZ to meet our puppy last week. I could not eat dinner the night before and I had my reoccurring nightmare that when I went to meet Joe, he was really a wiener dog! That being said, the hour car ride to the breeder's house was just killing me. I was just so proud of myself that I didn't cry when I entered that house. I was in Boxer heaven in her home. She has 4 full grown Boxers and 6 puppies. I didn't know where to look first! She took us right to Joey, who is just perfect. He is everything I ever wanted in a Boxer. We all had so much fun. His four little white feet never touched the ground for the 45 minutes that we were there. That poor 6 week old pup got passed around between me, my two daughters and my parents. Only after we left did we realize that my husband never got to hold Joe. My parents had to come because they were so excited to meet their new "fuzzy grandchild". We also got to meet and love on Joey's mom and dad. I thought we were so lucky to meet them both. Joe's father is the most beautiful, big, muscular boy I ever met. He was crated when we first got there, and my 10 year old keep saying "He's staying in there, right?" Well, we had to take him out to play, and he was wonderful. He just kept kissing Joey's little face. It was so cute. I was so exhausted from excitement when we left, I had to go right home and take a nap.....well, that was after we dropped off all the film at the one hour developers! It was so hard to leave him behind! The breeder, Nancy from Moon Valley Boxers was just so nice. We are so pleased we found her. We also brought along a big bag of biscuits for the adult dogs and a bag of little biscuits especially made for puppies. Sorry to go on and on, but I have been waiting for this dream to come true for 5 years!:D We get to go pick him up for good on June 21. That gives me plenty of time to order 3 gates to keep him in the kitchen while he is little. I already have the crate and tons and tons of toys, bowls etc. Please check out my galllery! My husband only had time to post one picture of Joey, but pretty soon I'll hound him to post some more!
