Jumps Like a Deer

Oh my gosh! I can't believe Ruby can do this!! We bought new furiture a few weeks ago. Now, instead of Ruby, our 15 month old boxer, walking around to the side of the couch to get up onto the couch, she just starting jumping over the back of the couch and to get on the couch. Oh my!!! And it looked like it took no effort at all to do that.

I wonder what she's do next to surprise us?????

Daisy does the same thing... She just pops up over the couch... Like there is nothing to it... She has even cleared the sectional part of the couch... She also can jump our 5 ft fence... I have a friend whose dog can jump without running... He just stands there and pounces like Tigger...

It sounds like Ruby might be great in some agility work,my Susie girl is very agile, I found out a 6ft fence won't keep her in,she is like a gazelle!LOL, Hanley

When I lived in NY, and there was snow on the ground, Lizzy would bounce through it like a deer...is was so funny!!

Still today, if she's trying to get through tall grass she'll bounce through it just the same, you'll see her head popping up as she's trucking along.

They're so funny, how could you not love these dogs???

Rocky likes to jump over Mia the boston, who is very short and squat. He loves to freak her out and she just can't seem to get her fat butt off the ground!

Anyone care to guess how Bownser got his name ? Yep,ever since he was a little tyke and he got excited,he'd bounce straight up in the air. Still does it. Thank goodness he doesn't have a little white tail

When Asia gets really excited about something (Like if you say the words "Wanna go outside?") she will hop around like a deer!

We got a sectional this past August and Asia has gotten to where she jumps over the full sized couch part of it! She is a nut but she keeps us very well entertained!

Diabla loves to sit, or perch on the arm of the couch. I swear she thinks she is only 2 pounds.

Henry is a jumper too. We've nicknamed him Buck (male deer) because of the effortless, smooth way he jumps sooo high. Just the other day he was standing on the floor by our bed. Sidda was standing on the bed. He jumped and cleared her and landed on the bed beside her! He jumps from the floor to the back to the back of the couch. When he is running he will jump over Sidda to get past her. It amazes us still to see him do it.

When Sadie was about a year old , we had company over (she gets excited when people come over). Anyways we were all gathered around the kitchen counter and Sadie got mad because no one was paying her any attention, and she actually jumped up onto the counter. She didn't need a running start or anything she just jumped right up there. It was so hilarious.
