Here is a little update on our Julia Valentine ...

"Good prognosis per bloodwork which confirms prob mainly just starved. Has tick fever too. Low white cell count, low thyroid, regenerative anemia, electrolytes off- all due to starving. But has excellent chance for survival."

I was too horrified to say anything earlier today. I don't think I have ever seen a dog that starved and still alive in my whole life. I have never seen the likes of that ever and never want to see it again. I hope and pray the poor baby can be healed and if she doesn't make it she will at least have known love her remaining days. It is apalling what people can and do to things they "own". If they never get punishment here they will have to answer for it on the other side. Things like that don't go unpunished even if they think they got away with it.

I am so glad to hear her prognosis is good. I hope soon enough we will see lovely pics of this baby all filled out and happy She is a beautiful baby. DH and I still can't believe anyone would do this to an animal.

I can't believe this baby is still alive, considering the way she looks. I am praying for her and send her some healing vibes. I hope when she is better she gets a very special home where she is so spoiled she will forget her past life. She deserves the absolute best!

Those are shocking pictures... and very upsetting and disturbing. I can't believe any sane person could allow a dog to get to that condition; the person must have been either mentally ill or left. Just horrible. Thank heavens her prognosis is good; and how like a Boxer to wag her little tail even in her debilitated state. I's sure she knows she is in loving hands now.

Oh poor Miss Julia Valentine! Mason & I are sending healing vibes to her for a speedy recovery. ((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))). Thankfully her tests show that she should make a full recovery. My thoughts and prayers will be with her during that time.
