I'd like to think that meeting your husband had something to do with the goodness you shared with Johnny. The fact that your soon-to-be husband owned a boxer too and could understand your devotion to your boy reinforces just how "meant to be" your family really is. I had goosepimples down my spine when I read this, Its terrible to think how people treat Boxers (and other dogs) it breaks my heart, but again its thanks to wonderful people who can see the potential and love in this wonderful breed. Im sure you both gained so much x

This is one of the most amazingly written stories I have ever read. It made me feel all the emotions involved. If everyone took the time to help an abused, neglected dog to become a happy, healthy dog then this world would be so much better to live in. How anyone in their right mind can treat any animal like that much less a boxer is just nuts. Thanks for taking the time to recover Johnny's boxer personality and for saving him from a life of doom. Just think how many other animals have been born, lived and died before anyone ever tried to help them, dogs just like Johnny, have died before they ever had a chance to really live. An angel, yes that is what you are especially, in Johnny's eyes.
