I'm new to the area, but every time I go to the beach I see at least two other boxers. If you guys are out there and interested in having a meet up (the big new dog park isn't open yet, but we have Davis) let me know!

we're out here. Kind of. we are actually in Gainesville, but from Jax, and spend most weekends there or in St. Aug. I would LOVE to meet up. I can't wait till the big park opens, the original is in Gville and they will let us go back and forth
Lettilooney is in St. Aug with dolly and demas, and I have another friend with a 4 mo. old boxer in St. Aug, I know there are tons of boxers in Jax but haven't seen any on the board. My stepmom's yard man has two, I can see if he wants to come. Where is Davis park? Let's get something planned! As long as there isn't a home Gator game that day, I will be there

We are actually planning a trip next Saturday (10/4) to the park on Beach at the Humane Society. But I can meet anywhere! There is a new park on the West side called Poochie's Park, one in Julington Creek and one in St. Augustine. The Davis park does have gators in the pond, so be careful. Let me know if you want to get together.

This is a long time away, but what are you all doing on the weekend of Nov 1? And the new park should be open by then. Maybe we could all meet Sunday morning (that is when guests are allowed at the park)? If the new park isn't open, we could figure out another park. But that will give us some time to get more people to come (plus I have horse stuff every weekend b/w now and then). Not that it has to be decided around me

Sure, sounds good! We'll probably be out at the park this weekend anyway, letting the carpets dry. The new park sounds like lots of fun, I'm so glad that we have so many to choose from, used to be just the one in St. Augustine.

Wendy, what time are you going on Saturday? I just found out I am coming to Jax midafternoon (post football game...Go Gators!and would love to meet up if you are going in the evening.

I will be there in the afternoon, probably until 6:00 or so, if the dogs can hold out! I'm going to the Humane Society park on Beach Blvd. I'd love to see you out there! I'll be the one with the fawn boxer and brindle pit.

Sweet! I am so excited! I wont be in town this weekend, but we should plan for the weekend of the 1st. Honestly, Sunday would work better for me, but if we did early morning on the 1st, I could probably swing that. I have been to Davis Park before, but none of the others. Davis is just a fenced area with a big pond in the middle....let's just hope that the big park is open by then. Have you guys been to the website? http://www.jaxdogs.com/

Hi there I'm in Jacksonville also. I wouldn't be able to bring my boxer as he tends to be a bit aggressive with "new" dogs (unless I find a muzzle for him - I really want to socialize him better, but it's very difficult because his snout is too small) but I'd love to come out and play with you all and maybe bring another one of my dogs (I have 4 and 2 fosters)
November 1 there is a boxer bash in Deland with Florida Boxer Rescue, so I won't be able to meet then, but I'm open any other weekend.
