Thanks for all your well wishes. I can't believe how hard it is not having him here. I find myself walking into a room and looking for him and then remembering he's gone. It's just not fair, losing one so young. I can't stop crying even though I know we did what was best for him. Thanks again for thinking of us.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I know how much it hurts. Bandit battled lymphoma for 10 months, but something happened really quick where he just turned for the worse. Be at peace knowing you did everything you could for him and how much he was loved. Cancer is so horrible and I hope and pray that someday we can cure these terrible diseases.

RIP Jack and run free with Bandit at the bridge.

My Jake too ..

I share your grief and bitter pain. My Jake was just put to sleep this Saturday afternoon .. lymphoma as well in his lungs, and he fought so hard to live .. He was a an abused Boxer we adopted out of a Georgia shelter .. we fell in love with him and he was happy with us for 3 years .. Putting him to sleep just ripped out my heart. As with your precious Jack, I look for Jake in every room and the house is just not the same. I look for him and feel the total emptiness .. I cry even when I am not crying. He was the joy in our lives and the house is so empty without his exuberance and energy. The void he left is unbelievable .. I hug you through this and please know this Boxer mom is feeling the same thing as you are .. the sadness is just so deep .. I pray they know how very much we love them and miss them .. maybe they are together .. we will see them again when it's our time .. remember the good times and please know you are not alone .. I am grieving too ... and yes, we miss our babies with every beat of our hearts ... Bless your Jack and my Jake .. and please accept my deepest condolences .. I too feel the unbearable sadness that has settle in my heart ... *Carol

So true Kevin. Looking through this post, it hurts to see that so many of us have lost our beloved boxers to serious illnesses such as cancer, heart problems, etc. It is just so sad that this wonderful breed is in such a fragile state. I hope Jack and Bandit are together at the bridge. They both put up a good fight!

Please accept my condolences Carol on the loss of your beloved Jake. It's just not fair to lose one so young.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost Jack. I remember reading some of your posts back when he was going through chemo at about the same time my Leeloo was and he sounded like such a brave boy. Even if they couldn't cure cancer, if they could only find a way to make remission last longer, that would help.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Try to take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and will be forever watching over you.

So very sorry to hear about Jack. Thanks again for sharing with us along the way. You helped me through Bailey's fight with Lymphoma and I hope we have returned the same to you.

I will tell Bailey to look for him at the bridge. :)
