Izzy wont eat or drink

Izzy's tummy is doing great. No diarrhea for a while now! YAH!
Her knee is still hurting her though :( She is limping still. I let her take a lap around the yard by herself, and after that, she wouldn't put any weight on it at all. I guess I should call the vet to see what we do next. If we take little walks, she limps a lot after that, or doesn't put any weight on it. I didn't just let her run the lap before doing any walking, I gradually tried to build back up. She has never stop limping since the initial injury. Even after her rest in the ICU when she had the tummy problems. I am going to take her Friday to see if she will do the water treadmill.

I hope that the vet can find something safe that will help Izzy. Have you ever tried a doggie chiropractor, or massage, acupuncture? That was going to be my next step with Crystal , but her time was too short.

I'm so glad to hear Izzy's tummy is doing better! But, sorry to hear her knee is still bothering her :( It must be so hard on you and her that she can't run and play like she wants to without hurting. Perhaps you might look into the alternatives mentioned by auntthelm - any one of them would be well worth trying. Continuing to send healing vibes for your Izzy girl.

I do massage on Izzy, but not as much as I should. I am a massage therapist, also trained in Reiki. I don't really believe in chiropractic (even though I work for one). I just don't like the idea of it. Sorry for those of you who believe in it, and I know it does help some. I am going to try to see if Izzy will do the water treadmill. My dad is very ill right now, so I haven't been doing everything I can for my babies lately. They are very understanding and have been very well behaved.

Since there is only so much time in a day, it sounds like you are using up about 30 hours of the 24 available to us. With work, school, your dad and everything else I think you have done an amazing job appicon. Of course your babies understand that your dad need you right now they are never short changed on your love and really that is all that matters. I hope that you get to relax and have a massage once in a while. Make sure you take good care of yourself.

Thank you very much. This post made me cry. I guess it's just nice to be acknowleged for everything that I do. Thank you so much. I just feel like such a bad mommy sometimes. It's so great to have your support and everyone elses. Sometimes, thanks doesn't feel like enough.

I do get massage myself, otherwise, I don't think I could function at all.
