I know how you feel!! I have to wait until the beginning of June for my pup! The bitch was just in heat a couple of weeks ago and the pups aren't even close to being born but I am counting the days!!! I'm having trouble decided between the names I've picked, what did your children pick for yours? I bet they are cute names. I have to restrain myself big time when I go into PetCo, cuz I do have awhile to wait...but my BF is buying a crate for me for my b-day!!!!! I'm so excited that he's getting it for me...but I won't tell anyone cuz they will think I'm crazy!!:D Ha but I know you all won't make fun. Congrats on your to-be pup, and the party sounds like a blast!!partyicon Keep us updated and post picks when they are born!

I waited four months for my second boxer and during that time I went on loads of websites looking for the right name. I found noble ones, funny ones, clever ones etc.
I finally picked Kobi (meaning peace).
Then when I finally got him home, he sat down, looked at me, and I thought - DAVE.
So now Dave is a year old.

I do hope that the next four months go quickly for you

Janice, the story about naming your dog Dave is tooooo funny. Everyone I tell just bursts out laughing. My 10 year old gets the name the boxer if it's a boy. In that case his name will be Joe. She just loves Joe Boxer stuff and has her bedroom and bathroom decorated in all his stuff. My 12 year old gets to name it if it's a girl and she picked Piper. Those names are just fine with me. I just can't believe that I have to wait 4 months to smoosh on that cute little face.

I know what the waiting game is like, I had to wait about 2 months to get Magic from Chery, and it was tourture, and what was worse, I went out to Meet Magic at 4 weeks and still had to wait another 4 weeks to go back out and get her  The 2 months flew by, and Cheryl sent me Pictures every other day, and I sent her a blanket so that when i brought Magic home she would still have that to smell. I have that Blanket somewhere lovicon and the time had flown by since the day i brought her home and i wouldnt trade a day of it for the world. But be paient, June will be here before you know it :)

Wow, and I thought we had it rough!

We too did our research and found a reputable breeder about 5 hours away and they had puppies! We mailed the deposit a little over a week ago and we pick up Baxter on the 29th of March (one day after we get home from Vegas... lol what a life!).

We too sent a blanket on Friday and hope they got it today! He is such looker, we can't wait.

We can totally understand the buying spree, we had planned on buying a little every weekend up until he comes home. Well that lasted 2 weeks, lol. smashicon This weekend, we bought him 2 puppy Kongs and misc. toys, a crate, his food, stainless steele food bowls, two collars, two leashes (matching of course), paid for our puppy kindergarten claass after he turns 10 weeks old, and made the appointment with the vet. I am not sure what we are going to do this weekend, but we know we are going to be ready for the little guy when he gets here!

Hey you guys.....sending a blanket is a great idea. I had not thought of that. I'll make sure to ship one off to Canada as soon as the litter is born! Anything to make our baby feel comfortable. Now to go out and buy the perfect blankie!:p Oh and by the way, I am jealous that you all have or will be getting your baby before me!:p
