Is your dog chipped?

Samson will be getting neutered soon and the vet also recommended chipping him. I totally agree with chipping him, but wasn't sure if there are any known side affects for anything to worry about in the future?

Also curious, how many people out there have their fur face chipped?

Nothing to worry about - all three of our furbabies are chipped.

If you have any doubts - read Frog's Mom's thread about "Frog's Missing" After about 3 months away, Frog was returned home thanks to her chip. Definitely worth it.

Both of mine got chipped at the SPCA. It was less expensive than going to our vet and was super easy.

I cannot say this enough DO IT!!! As stated if not for Frog's chip we never would have gotten her back. We have had no issues with the injection site and I can't even feel where the chip is all I know is it's there and it did it's job once!!!!!

Our breeder had all the puppies chipped before they were sent home so Molly was chipped when I got her.
After reading and following Frogs story though I am a firm believer in the microchipping process and in future would have all furry family members chipped

Athena and Apollo are both chipped. It's definitely worth the extra few bucks, I think we would all recommend getting chipped.
