Is she too small?

Our little puppy Roxy is just about 11 weeks old and shw weighs 11 pounds. Is this normal? Everyone keeps telling us she's so small for her age. Is this a Boxer thing?

11 pounds does seem a little small, but every pup and bloodline grows differently and at their own pace.

Don't worry about it. Most females will be close to the size of their mother.

Moxie, our female boxer is now 14 weeks old and I'm not sure how much she weighs but I would guess she weighs as much as my 3 1/2 mo old daughter and thats 14lbs. so I dunno maybe not to small huh. Her mother is 79lbs and pretty tall too ..

When I got Kayla she was 5 pounds at 7 weeks.It depends on th female.Kayla is now 20 weeks tomorrow and she is about 23 pounds.

My tiniest puppy bitch ended up as the biggest bitch (and one of the biggest pups of all) at 70 lbs!

I'm not sure what she weighed at 11 weeks, but she couldn't have grown THAT much that quickly after I handed her over at 8 weeks. And yet she obviously ended up quite large (though lean) in adulthood!

Provided with good nutrition and exercise she'll end up at whatever weight she's genetically programmed to be. Keep her fit and enjoy her!
