is she seizuring?

hey all.. my pup is 11 1/2 weeks old. when we took her for her first shots, and brought her home, my nephew was playin with her then all of a sudden she rolled on o her back, he legs splayed and she couldnt move. SO i started rubbin her to calm her down cuz you could see she was scared i stood her up and she fell over so we rushed he back to the vet...she had an allergic reaction.

about a week ago, we were sleepin and she twitches when she sleeps, well she began to twitch a lot and fairly hard (hard enough to wake me) i watched for a few seconds and her head flew back so i woke her up and stood her up an she fell over and went back to sleep.

Last night this apparently happened again, but when she was stood up she fell over and didnt go back to sleep.
Could it be that she just gets very much into her dreams (because she does growl and bark in her sleep as well as twitch) or does it sound like shes seizing?

Sorry your baby had a reaction to the shots. When Austin is in a deep sleep he does the same thing and sometimes I have a hard time waking him up. It's kinda scary sometimes.

I am sorry your baby had an allergic reaction to her shots!Glad to hear she's feeling better.But as far as the twitching, etc in her sleep....Herkie does it ALL the time....and sometimes it's very scary....so I am pretty sure your girl isn't having seizures!But if it makes you feel better...put a call into the vet!

Twitching in a puppy while it is sleeping is a normal thing however the rolling of the head and falling over has me worried. I would take her to the vet and have her looked at. Usually after seizure type activity there is confusion afterwards. If it persists definately take her to the vet.

I'm so sorry you baby is scaring you. When she had the first reaction were her legs stiff or limp. In seizures they get stiff and their body rigid and when they faint they are limp.
As for the sleep twitching it could be just dreams as all our do that along with growling too. But Our Duke had seizures in his sleep and the movements were much more violent with thrashing his head up against what ever he was near, like me or the wall. He would wake up very confused and not be able to walk around with out staggering. If you have any doubts that these are NOT dreams please talk to you vet. Some people have noticed severe reactions to vaccinations when they are given in combo shots.
