Is he REALLY a boxer?

I'm constantly asked if my baby is a pitbull.. :( I adopted him from a boxer rescue who doesn't accept mixed dogs-and he's AKC registered...but I must ask boxer enthusiasts, does he look like a boxer???

His snout is a little longer than my boxer girl's, and his ears were docked too short. His personality says 100% boxer, am I crazy?

I'm not an expert, but what does it really matter if someone else thinks he is a boxer or not? IMHO he looks mixed with something, his snout does look a lot longer than any boxer I have seen. But he is still cute! I'd say just forget about the comments and enjoy your little mushy face!

I think that as long as he has a great disposition & you love him to death that is all that matters! I can see why people think he's a pit because of his longer nose. But what do those people know anyway!?!!? He's adorable and loving - that's what matters most.

I definitely agree that it doesn't matter, just curious as to if other people saw it too. Ya know what I mean? I've been looking at a lot of the galleries with white boxers and I've seen a few that look exactly like him..and I guess it just kind of makes me curious as to why the rescue would have him if he's mixed and they don't take in mixed dogs.

I'm thinking about this way too much, aren't I? *laughs*

He is quite the handsome boy!!!!! My Buddy had a long snout-just more room to sniff the counters with Phooey on other people, we love our babies-no matter what.

what a sweetheart!! i love his marking(s) (from what i can see) on his face!

who cares what other people think...he looks like a lovable boy!

his body looks to me like a boxer's ... his nose is a little longer than most that i have seen but if i saw him i wouldn't think he was anything but a boxer! ((a longer nose just gives you a little more to love))

he is definately a VERY pretty boy! he looks some what like a Dogo Argentino (sp?) except less droopy faced. nevermind what others say, if he looks great, and has got that boxer personality, i say 100% boxer!

What a cutie!! I think he looks like a boxer, just has a longer nose and with the ears being cut shorter I can see why people think he's a pitbull. Plus, him being white.

And like everyone else has said, just ignore the people that make their ignorant comments! I'm sure you love your boy no matter what!
