Is chicken soup a good quality food for my boxer?

The eye boogers didn't stop right away, probably took a couple weeks. I almost thought it was an allergy of something else but then they just cleared up. I've been using Chicken Soup for about a year now and alls good.

Buddy's been on Chicken Soup for about a year now, and does great with it. We've been through Wellness, Solid Gold, Canidae, and a couple others, and he's done the best with CS. He also doesn't have any eye booger problems either on CS.

Sampson and Sugar Pie have been eating Chicken Soup for about a week now and, WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Sampson's coat is so soft like a velvet teddy bear. It's so shiny and healthy looking! Sugar Pie, my bichon, has coarse white curly fur and she's even soft!

They both love the food....lick the bowls clean.

Chicken Soup is a wonderful food, but I'm in the minority here because it didn't agree with Maggie & Buster's system...

Boomer eats CS and I'm switching him to Merrick, as a part of his rotation he does really well on CS. He is so shiny and we get a ton of compliments wherever we go.

I find that adding a spash of Apple Cider Vinegar to our dog's water almost eliminates eye boogies and staining

Titan has been on CS for about a month now. His coat looked better in a week or so. He's so smooth and shiny now and soft as velvet. Around week 2 he also had a bout with diarrhea, I switched him to rice for a few days and slowly mixed some CS back in and he seems back to normal now. He loves his new food and licks the bowl clean every time. As far as the elevated bowl I have his on a stand. At first it was on the floor and he kept choking alot, so I lifted the bowl to see if it mattered and the choking stopped. I dont know if it's good or not but it seems to work for Titan.

No, actually it's not a good idea. Raising feeders increases the risk of bloat by over 100%. Bloat is a life threatening emergency condition - from which a lot of victims die, and boxers are already somewhat prone to it. Really not something you want to mess around with.

I just started working for a veterinary clinic, and last week we had a dog come in with bloat. Very very scary, he almost died. You definatly want to do whatever you can to eliminate this possiblity. Gmacleod is right, lower the feeder. I had to watch these poor people stand there and crying hoping their beloved pet could be saved.
