Boxer Pal
Hi my name is Lynda. On Labor Day weekend a boxer puppy, about 9 months old, showed up in my yard. I checked with all the vets and humane shelter and animal shelter, posted found dog flyers but to no avail. I still have Heinrich, a fawn with black mask, tail docked, ears normal. He is not neutered. I have another dog, 4 years old, half dalmation and half blue heeler, who is neutered. They get along great. My main problem with the boxer is that he will not house train. If i am home he will ask to go out (or not) depending on whatever he is doing at the time. He pees on the corner of my couch, on the refrigerator, the wardrobe etc. I gated him down the hall but he has figured out how to knock the gate down. I need help!
PS. i also have 2 cats and i do turtle and tortoise rescue and have 13 of them.
i am so glad i found this group.

Hi and welcome to BW!!!! :)

Neuturing him will help he is in his terrible teens with hormones too! After he is neutured his hormones will calm down thats why he is peeing on you couch you might have to treat him like a puppy and let him out every 15 minutes to help him thru this too. Plus you don't know his past history he might have issues which doesn't help.

Hi Lynda! Welcome to BW! :) I'm sure you'll find loads of information here - try in the Behaviour section, and if all else fails, do a search - it's a GREAT tool! :)
