Hi

I dont know where to start.

My name is Michelle and I have 3 children aged 11, 7 and 7. We are picking up our Brindle Male on 20th August he is 6 weeks old at the moment. We have decided to call him Marley and he now looks like a Marley. He is so cute and adorable. We are visiting him again on Sunday. He is from a private breeder, who has the mum and the dad was a champion in a few events. He is KC registered, so we were able to know his background, although we are not breeding we wanted to reassurance.

I work full time but 3 days a week, 13 hour shifts :0(. However, I have my daughter who will be home after school with our pup he will be left 8-4:00. I have already arranged puppy visits to let him out, when he is old enough she will come in and take him for walks. I have also enquired about doggy day care for him, when is he toilet trained.

My husband is nervous about getting a Boxer, but I have read and hopefully with his obedience classes he will be ok.

We live near a large field within walking distance he can go to and he will be living in a house with a average size.

I am counting down the days now, so cannot wait.

Thank you for reading and loving this board so far.

Hi and welcome to BW from myself and Fudgie. Boxers are great family dogs and lots of fun, they do have high levels of energy and playfulness. :)

Hiya,

Thank you, after reading endless articles and threads I have realised they are full of energy. This is why my husband is concerned, but I hope with the training and exercise he will be ok. I am totally focussed as well as committted and so excited in picking him up. Funny really I feel a loss without him here even though he isnt home yet, just knowing he is coming.
