Boxer Pal
Hello everyone, my name is Scott and I was a recent Boxer owner.
Unfortunately, my rescue boxer passed away after having her for 5 years on 3/11/12 from acute kidney failure. It was quite a shock for me and the wife when we brought her in for a 6 month checkup and found out that she was in fact in kidney failure. We didn't see any signs of problems with her until the day before the checkup when she was acting lathargic and was only eating a little bit.
I have been a boxer owner my whole life and Bailey was my first boxer in Florida. I personally think it is way too early to be looking for a dog but my wife thinks it would be good for me. I am leaning towards another rescue dog and she wants a puppy so we know what we are getting.
I read some of the posts on here, and figured I may have input on some of the topics and found so far what I have read to be helpful.
