Intro for me and my baby

Hello, my name is Jacquelyn and my baby's name is Zoe. We live in a small town in Alabama, between Montgomery and Auburn. Zoe is almost 11 months old and my first boxer. I've never owned a boxer or known anyone with one so I have jumped into an unknown territory here. I am having a ball getting to know her as she’s growing and attempting to learn more about her and her breed. I must admit it has been quite a hilarious journey so far. I have laughed many times a day thanks to her and her personality. Because this is all new to me I have taken to the internet to learn more but up until I found this website most of the sites I have read are dry and dull vet report type sites that repeat the same things. This website however I found intriguing with so many posts from people who own and live with these dogs, and know more firsthand how boxers are. I was beginning to think my dog was crazy for acting like a greyhound racing in circles in my backyard, as well as pouncing on bugs like a cat, thanks for letting me know this is normal for her. I am not yet familiar with the different types of boxers, so all I can say about her is she is brown with a white chest, tips of her paws, and strip on her nose. I look forward to learning more and understanding what kind of child I have acquired here. Thanks for reading.

Thank you and to answer your question I'm a fan of neither Bama or Auburn. I moved here from Tn. and I traveled quite a lot so I haven't gotten into the whole football thing here in Alabama. I'm hoping to load a few pictures of Zoe once I figure out how to navagate this site better. I am enjoying the pictures everyone else has on here so far. It's nice to see so many others that treat the baby's as such and not just like a dog.
