I guess I'm lucky in this respect. Both my dogs sleep on the bed but when we are "busy" they completely ignore us! i remember Cleo tried to come over once and DH said to "leave it" LOL and she never came near us again. I suppose it's over so fast, it's not a big deal! LOL LOL My DH would kill me if he read this! LOL LOL

LOL!!! I was going to post a note about how Sammi just ignores us once we tell her to go lay down...and then I read this and just had to say DITTO!!!
Too funny :)

This Is Hilarious!!

This is just too funny because its true!! my Tyson actually leaves and goes to the bathroom and hides there until we tell him to come back, and sometimes he just stays there for the rest of the night, I guess just in case!

Sorry, I can't offer you any advice on this one. I'm pretty lucky in that if Boomer happens to be in the room at the time he seems to get embarrassed by what he hears/sees and gets up and leaves the room! Sometimes he'll come back, but only when he thinks the coast is clear!! It's either that or he gets annoyed cause his sleep is being disturbed!

Im soooooo GLAD our babies are NORMAL!!

We don't let the kids on the bed all the time only to play in the mornings on the weekend! however if we lock them out for private time they whine cry scratch etc; If we keep them in the room with us some of the time Tyson will stick his nose in precarious areas!! It totally ruins the moment when Matt is pushing the dog down and kissing me at the same time and if we put them out back they just run around and look in the window and cry!!:) I have a hard time enjoying myself when I know my kids are watching!:( I love my babies but they can deffinately ruin intimate moments sometimes!! If we want to "DO the DEED" we try to tire them out as much as possible first, wait until they fall asleep and them do what is on our minds!:) The dog park is the best place to cure this problem we just let them tire themselves out!

This thread is too funny!

I am also one of the lucky ones. My Otis is only 6 months old and incapable of jumping up on our bed, its very high. He is also not allowed on the bed so he doesn't usually try to get up there. And once we start doing our "thing" he will go lay down like "oh lord, here they go again" and will just go to sleep. Sometimes when he hears uh the noises (lol) he will lift his head up and look up at us, but as soon as he realizes its just part of the process and nothing to be concerned about, he lays his head back down and goes to sleep and waits for us to be finished. ha ha Sometimes he has to wait an hour!! Poor guy!

Sidda sleeps with us every night. She gets settled into her spot and she could care less what we are doing, thank goodness. The few times she has got a little nosey, we just say "lay down" and she doesn't bother us...lol.

This was a huge problem for us too! Carley's been sleeping in her own bed (in our room) for quite a while now but she knows it's okay to come up on the bed with us when it's not "sleep" time. We use pig ears to keep her busy. The only problem now is between me and hubby and it's "did you get a pig ear?" "No, I got it last time, you go get it." You get the picture. We get the really big ones and a giant pig ear will keep Carley busy for 30-45 minutes. We only give them to her on these "special" occasions. You should see those two when I come home with a big bag of pig ears. I swear my husband gets more excited than Carley does!

PIGS EARS! you're right. Being a Razorback I should have thought of that.
We'll give them a try ( as soon as DH gets back from muzzleloading (deer hunting).

When Dh and I go "upstairs" we leave the tv and the lights on and the dogs just seem to stay there as if they think we will be right back. They also sleep in our bed at night but I want to change that when we move next week. I have been looking for doggie beds for them and of course lots of treats and toys to win them over! I just hope it works!
