Here's kind of a Twilight Story...you know how there was always a twist at the end of that show?
Well, when we got our new boxer yesterday, we found out that our new baby's mother had died because of complications during birth. So, the puppies were all bottle fed. The owners did a great job w/ these puppies though. They were all healthy and running around. Anyway, I decided to name her Lexi. For some reason, no other name sounded right for our new baby. Besides, when we were naming our first boxer, we thought about Lexi, but it didn't really sound right.
Tonight, the owner called to see how Lexi got along last night, etc. We also told her what we had named her. Come to find out, Lexi is the name of our new baby boxer's mother who had died w/ complications.
I had no idea that was her name! I'm sure they mentioned her name, but we didn't remember her name at all. Isn't this somthing else? We were just amazed. But we're going to keep her name anyway. She looks like a Lexi.
