I know I'm going to regret this....
whiteone, I don't know why you are so intent on finding a fight or a fuss here when there clearly is none. This is a simple discussion about different people's experiences with white Boxers, some deaf, some not. The only fight going on is in your imagination.
I'm still trying to figure out how you can say this is a great debate and also is really silly, but I'll skip over that for now....I just want to correct some factual information.
The first boxer was white we all know that and so maybe all boxers will carry the gene to produce whites who knows.
The first registered Boxer was a brindle, his dam I believe was a brindle parti-color. (I've given the specifics on that before.) And no, not all Boxers carry the gene to produce whites, only those that carry the white marking pattern gene do (the genetically "flashy" Boxers). Which means that the genetically plain Boxers cannot produce whites.
Not me and may I say I have not found anyone who has the answers to the questions in ref to whites
If you mean the questions regarding health, you're correct in that their have been no studies done. If you mean questions regarding genetics, there are several people that have the answers to those and they've been posted here and elsewhere on the Internet.
That is what it is all about right? Not who can make the most $ in the ring
This is a common misconception, but it never hurts to point out that it is very rare to make money showing your dog. Some few shows do have cash prizes for Group and Best In Show wins - but even the most lucrative of these do not begin to touch the expenses of campaigning the dog.
The saying is, "There's lots of money in showing dogs. I know that's where all mine goes!"
