Im so lost......Harley is gone (kinda long)!

I am so sorry for your loss.
Sounds like you loved Harley very much.
I know it is easier said than done but please don't beat yourself up about how it happened.
I don't even know you but I will bet that if you did know something was going to happen you would have slept right by his side even on the cold, hard floor just to be near him and I am sure Harley knew that too!!
You are in my prayers.

Harley wouldnt want you to be upset, maybe thats why you have started to see so many boxers he's sent his vibes to other babies to let you know he's keeping an eye out for you. Time is the only thing that will make it easier but you shouldnt be ashamed to cry and grieve for a family memebr but dont blame yourself, its not the boxer way.

I am so sorry about Harley but sounds like he went the best way. He had a great day, ate and feel asleep in his favorite place...what more could you ask for? Someone on here once posted to me that animal are not like humans and do not fear death and that has given me much comfort with my Rocky who has cancer. These wonderful boxers know they are loved and that's all they need. we have talked about what will happen when we loose our baby...I know no other dog can EVER replace my Rocky but living with out a boxer in my life just doesn't sound right. Boxers are so unselfish that I am sure they would want us to have another one to love in time. I think you are right...Harley is sending you a sign like hey Mom I am fine don't be sad! Someone in here that lost their boxer got a new baby and she said swears that her deceased dogs spirit was in her new dog. Take one day at a time and remember Harley memories are in your heart forever....prayers from Rocky & Mom

It sounds like Harley was a wonderful boxer and you will miss him terribly. But you know you must try not to blame yourself. Harley died where he was comfortable. That was his own area and obviously he loved it. More than likely Harley died peacefully in his sleep. I think had he been sick he would have woken you up. But I know that is not much comfort to you. We love these babies so much. I still feel guilty after having to put down my last little poodle. It still haunts me that maybe I could have do something different. That is the price we pay when we bring these wonderful creatures in our lives. But they are worth it and we will have wonderful memories that time cannot erase. I will keep you in my prayers.
