I was so sorry to read your first post, it brought tears instantly as did this one. I hope your boys will pull through, kids have a funny way of dealing with tramatic events, time will heal I am sure.
Its a lovely thing you did for your kids with the pictures, I am sure they appreciate them. We did a similar thing with my nephews, it helped them to cope.

I just read this post from beginning to end--and have been crying since your first post b/c I knew the dreaded ending to the story. I"m so so sorry this had to happen to you. It's like ppl dont think before they do something that stupid. They must not have loving pets of their own at home--dear God I hope they dont have pets at home, help them if they do. I wish your family the best and may the meds speed up the healing process for you--you have to stay strong for everyone else in the family too, the kids especially. I am really in tears ... I can't see how a human being could even think about doing this to an animal of any kind, especially not two sweet babies like yours.

I know this isn't going to help you any, but I am so sorry about what you and your family are going through right now. I wish no one would ever have to go through the loss of a loved pet family member.

Trish & family- I am so sorry to hear of your losses. I'm behind in reading posts but am still feeling horrible for what was done to your babies. I don't see how people can live with themselves doing the things they do. Maybe they were just that ignorant & didn't know that anti-freeze was harmful to animals; just the benefit of the doubt. But either way what goes around comes around & whoever did this will get their's come judgement day...

This is the first time I have read this post. I literally feel physically ill and am so sorry that you and your family are having to deal with this tragedy. I just want to share how honored I am to know of someone like you. Your attitude and outlook are amazing. I am so glad that you are able to find some sort of peace during this time. If you do decide to go further in the search to find who did this, you can also try the ALDF (animal legal defense fund) as they are much more effective than the police in animal related crimes. If you do not, I understand. Again, I am so impressed by you and hope that you will serve as an example that violence and anger won't solve anything. Take care.

I am glad to hear that you all are getting better and better each day...and like said before, even though the puppy doesnt replace your two, he probably is a huge blessing to have around now. I hope you and your family, especially the kids keep on getting better and here are some hugs from us and our three.
