Our waiting is finally over! I've just had word from our Boxer Rescue and they've got a 6-8mth old red and white boy for us to have. He's just four or five hours away in a city pound in Rotorua and is waiting to be fixed up,etc. He still has his tail which could mean unregistered breeders and he's been neglected. I can't wait to see him. We will travel to get him when the time comes. Cinda doesn't know it yet but she's about to become an older sister!

How good of you to rescue this lil guy and give him a loving forever home! I am sure Cinda will be pleased! Any thoughts on names? Prince sounds fitting especially if his sister is named Cinda!! Just like a fairy tale!

We hadn't got to the name-place yet and Prince is a good one. I found out only a couple of days ago that Cinda was short for Cinderella. My daughter gave me a miniature rose by that name, insisting she'd told us way back but I have my doubts! (my rememberer is broke) I'd wanted to have a name that complimented Cindas' too so that's a goodie. Any more ideas anyone? We pick this little fella up this saturday, amd I'm almost too scared to believe it's going to happen-we've waited so long.

Well done on your soon to be new addition and thank you for letting me know there are boxer rescues in NZ.

I've looked on the Internet everywhere I can think of trying to see if we have boxer rescues here and couldn't find anything. I must have been looking in the wrong places!!!

Yay for rescuing your wonderful new fur baby and like everyone else, I'll be waiting for the pictures!!

Congrads!!!!! You poor thing, it is going to be one llllllooooonnnnngggggg week! I found Cisco on a Wed, and got him on Saturday, those were the longest Thurs and Friday ever!
I think Prince is a wonderful name!
