I'm back... and I'm expecting!!!LOL!!!

Hi Everyone!

I haven't been around very much as my Dad has been hospitialized for the past three months and I have been at the hospital much of the time, but just wanted to share some much needed good news! DH and I are expecting our first child--it's still very early, I'm just a couple of months along, but I just had to share with everyone. We have been married for 10 years and it's only been the two of us(then Lovely Layla, of course) that I think our friends and family had given up on us even having skin-kids!LOL!

Here's something for the power of good news---My Dad is in the hospital since October when he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which is a cancer of the blood in the bone marrow, then had a heart attack and then went into Kidney failure where dialysis was needed three times a week. He also, understandably, fell into a deep depression. Well, when I told him I was expecting, he was SO excited and within a week the doctors told us they were amazed to see his myeloma mass had disappeared and his kidneys were reversing themselves without the need for dialysis anymore!!

So if I could ask for some more vibes for him as well as for myself for an uneventful pregnancy!!!

Congrats on the good news. I posted yesterday that I'm seven weeks preggie so we can be newest the Boxerworld Mums to be.

Glad to hear your Dad is doing so much better too, it's amazing what this particular piece of news can do for people aye!!

Good luck to us both and your Dad!

Congrats on your good news. I know that you were thrilled to see your dad's improvement. My mother also is fighting cancer. The doctors have told her that her positive attitude has kept her going.

Wow! Im so happy for you. A relative of mine was diagnosed with cancer (she was very elderly), the doctors told her kids she only had a few months to live (2 max.) the kids opted not to tell her and she lived for 4 more years.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and I'm very happy to hear of your dads turn for the better!! We are sending all of our <<<<<positive vibes>>>>> for a full recovery for your dad and a very happy & healthy pregnancy for you! Layla is going to be so excited to know that she will have a skin-brother or sister! :)
