Hello all!
I'm a newbie! My name is Tina from Houston, Texas.I'm married with a 5 yr old son. I decided to add another dog to our family because I'm such a dog freak, so that is why I adopted a boxer.I heard and read that they our great with children. I also have a schnauzer named Felix who is 10 yrs old. My boxer's name is Chloe. I rescued her from Lone Star Boxer. They are a wonderful organization! Its hard to believe people neglect and give up these beautiful dogs! Chloe is such a sweet dog and loves attention from people. When I got her she didn't have any manners. She is dominant with my other dog and tries to be with me. I take her to Petsmart for obedience training. She is so smart! She's ready for intermediate lessons now! She is better at walking and I feel I have control of her now. She has such a high prey drive! She is constantly scanning the area for any animal like squirrels to move. She has also caught 2 possums from our neighbors yard. She totally made a hole in the fence to get to them!! I can't believe how strong these dogs are. She is so cute though and we love her to death! She has picked me as her favorite human. Its funny when my other dog is laying on the rug by me and Chloe gets upset because she wants to lay on it too. Chloe will walk around whimpering until she finds a place close to me!
Anyway, I know I will enjoy this website!
