If you didn´t have a boxer what would it be ?

I would have a Rhodesian Ridgeback... I love them! They are the "cat" of the dog world, and since I am allergic to cats - well, there you have it.

Something from the humane society/shelter. I want to go now and "rescue" a dog, but my baby boxer is coming home soon (7 weeks!) and I know it's not practical... However, in the future...

My perfect dog for me, besides a boxer, is my Pom/Eskie mix. He's little, fluffy, thinks he's my child, friendly, fun, silly, empathetic, energetic, etc. He's just going to love his new brother!!

I quite like Lurchers. Apart from Boxers I don't really have a particular breed I like.
We go to Wood Green animal shelter to get the dogs food etc and I regulary fall in love with one of the poor dogs there no matter what the breed.
They had a deaf 6 month old Dalmation pup (liver spots) there the other month and I fell in love with him, the owners had taken the time to teach him sign language and everything but wanted him re homed as they said they were moving to a smaller house!

I love all kind of dogs. I really want a King Charles, english bulldog, great dane, bernese mountain dog, saint bernard, and another siberian husky. I need to win the lottery soon to buy my dream acreage. LOL

I will have to say that my second choice would be an Irish Water Spanial as I already have one. There are so many breeds of dogs that I would like, but I next one will be another boxer. Hopefully, sooner than later.

Well, I've done the small dogs (minpin, chiahuahua, sm. mixed breeds) and I gotta say I am so for the bigger dogs (with short hair). I told DH I def want a Great Dane, Weimariner, Greyhound, Mastiff / Bull Mastiff and a Whippet. Gosh we are so gonna need a bigger place and probably a 3rd and 4th job to boot .
