If I didn't have BOXERS who would tilt their heads when mommy did something strange.
If I didn't have BOXERS who would look at me as if they were embarrased of MY behavior.
If I didn't have BOXERS I wouldn't watch Animal Planet (ps. practically memorize their schedule).
If I didn't have BOXERS I would be missing out on my best friends.

This thread has got to be one of my favorite...
Just last weekend.. my mom said that "she wouldn't have my dog shoved up her ass!" which basically meant that she wouldn't have mattie. She keeps saying that she wishes that I never got her.. but she just doesn't understand. I mean, I am a single, 26 year old female that is scared at night and lonely I mean, I have friends, and a boyfriend for that matter, but you never know the love of a dog until you get one. Mattie is my first dog ever, and I can't say enough about the breed and her as a whole. Shoot, I fell in love with them so much that now I am volunteering at the Ohio Boxer rescue and trying to show people the same love that I have. Mattie is the true love of my life. Just a few to add....
- I wouldn't be shell shocked while showering and feel someone licking my butt (she does this every day!)
- I would be able to dry my hair without her chasing around the hairdryer and biting at the air
- i would be able to walk without feeling like my arm was being ripped out of my socket
- i would be able to walk, without getting scours from people when mattie poops like " you gonna pick that up"
- I would be able to have visitors that didn't freak when mattie barked and my roommate wouldn't yell at her when all she is doing is protecting our home.
- I wouldn't know the greatest love, and healing that a boxer can bring !!
I love my puppy girl so much !!!!

Thanks everyone! I just found that little poem on another boxer site and thought i would share. Goodness, i never expected to see such wonderful responses! :D we are all a little crazy for our babies, but who else in this world loves you no matter what, every moment of every day.
I guess i would like to add one of my favorite things about my katie girl:
If i didnt have a boxer, i would never know what it is like to view every moment in life like a game and every object in the world like a toy!
That i think is the essence of a boxer personality, and i love it!

1. I wouldn't have black and blue marks all over my body
2. Hubby wouldnt wake up in the morning with a big black eye and wonder if it was me or Muggsey that got him this time.
3. I would have to clean more often because people would come over.
4. I would save money on gas in the summer because I have to take him everywhere with me and leave the car on with the air conditioning on high!!
