I'd never get to:

5. Take a bath with boxer tongues lapping at the water.

7. Become a boxer stalker and look forward to driving by strangers' homes where I know boxers live just to see them in their yards.

I could go on and on, this is such a fun thread

So true! Gnarly can't resist the water in the bath.... and whinges at the same time! I have several houses that I drive by just in the hope of a glimpse of a gorgeous boxer.
Cute thread! Amanda.

If I didn't have a boxer I would:

1. have had flowers outside instead of $200 worth of greenery
2. have had to prune the lilac bush myself
3. be able to find my underwear and toiletries every day
4. not have scared the neighbors by running out in my underwear and a t-shirt after Willis carrying another pair of my underwear in his mouth
5. not have been able to find all of Kris's missing socks (where does he find those things)
6. not have rocks and bark strewn across my lawn
7. not have the start of a hole to china in the yard
8. not have had a fat lip from his puppy head banging into me for boxer kisses
9. still have brand new glasses instead of having to peek through teeth marks
10. not have garbage cans as counter decorations
12. not have a pocket full of dried liver powder from a smushed up treat
13. not have a collection of stuffed animals with their ears chewed off that have been severely "violated"
14. not have a reason to be on BW
15. not have a huge laugh every day of my life, because i didn't always before Willis came into it.

What an absolutely wonderful thread. I have been having a really hard time lately (not related to my little boxer angel) and I REALLY appreciated the smiles I got from this thread.

If I didn't have my Layla-boxer, I would be an extremely sad person. I don't know what I would do with my day (and money, hehe). If I didn't have a boxer, my life would be empty because I wouldn't know the joy that comes from such an amazing bond.

Oh yeah, and I wouldn't have potholes in the yard, pick up poop with just a baggie as a barrier between "it" and my skin, or step on bones and hard toys in the middle of the night ;)
Thanks again

If I didn't have Buckaroo and now Biyeu in my life:
-I would be very lonely.
-I wouldn't laugh as much.
-I wouldn't have someone to hug as much as I want to.
-Would end up staying on the floor when I fell.
-No one would sit on the other side of the car seat and stare down other drivers.
-I wouldn't have someone to tell me when the daycare kids next door were out.
-I wouldn't get bumped on my knee for a petting because he loves me.
-No one would drape their sleepy body across my feet to be close.
-No one would let me know if someone was at the door.
-No one would hate my driving except of course other drivers.
-ditto to all the other posts~!
hugs and slurps,
cin and buckaroo and biyeu

1) I wouldn't have anyone to chew on my nose. (and sometimes growl at it at the same time)

2) I wouldn't have to try to sneak into the kitchen for something to eat without my "overweight" boxer right behind me.

3) I definately wouldn't get any exercise. (who wants to walk alone, right!)

4) I could vacuum without having it be attacked by the killer boxer!

5) I wouldn't get at least one laugh every day.

6) The mailman would be lost without Austin to bark at him every day.

7) I wouldn't hear the grunts of a "starving" boxer wanting a treat!

8) I wouldn't have a cold nose stuck on my butt when I'm trying to wash my face!

Aahhhh.....life with a boxer........priceless!

Great thread!

I totally relate to these posts, especially Sidda1018 and all the slobber notes...and...
- I wouldn't have to get up 40 minutes earlier than I used to every morning to feed them, wash bowls, give the morning rub downs, and take them outside
- wouldn't have to brush 3 sets of teeth most nights
- wouldn't have been sore for 3 days from falling down the stairs since I slipped in the dog pee
- wouldn't have come up with "do your thing" as the "go" word for potty and stand there at 5:00 am and 11:00 pm saying it over and over
- wouldn'thave to tell every visitor "just say off!" before them come in the house
- wouldn't skip parties or other functions because I know I'll sit there daydreaming about being with my babies
- ignore huge yellow/brown patches on my lawn while maticulously manicuring the rest of it
- chat with the girls at the vet's office like they are family
- get up at 2:30 every night since Jake caught kennel cough to "just be sure" he's breathing normally-even though it's been weeks
- I'd never get to suck up Boxer jowls with the hand held vacuum
- wouldn't carry cookies and tissues(for eye boogies) in my bathrobe pockets
- wouldn't walk around with obvious scratches on my legs from my welcome home greetings

MOst of all, wouldn't know how truly wonderful it is to be loved by such incredible dogs. So glad I have people to share these feelings with!!

I could get a good nights sleep with out getting wakened up with a snorry dog!

We wouldn't have to roll the car windows down in a panic when she lets one go!

OMG - I followed someone's truck the other day that had a boxer in the back. I pulled them over and petted that baby...........I'm such a psycho!
