I am no kind of expert on this subject-----All I have is my personal opinion on this one. We have had boxers for a long time now, and the best combo that we have ever had has been the neutered male and spayed female boxer pairs. They have similar playing styles, grooming styles, etc. etc. Boxers just seem like they gravitate towards other Boxers, in the park, play groups etc. But---my daughter co-owns a Siberian Husky and every Wed. we are at conformation class with our two boxers and a room full of Siberian Husky's. The Siberians are Beautiful and they are so Dignified. They don't appreciate our boxers jumping on them or even around them too much. The Siberians seem like they are dignified and also very laid back kind of dogs. If there is too much horse play the Siberians seem like they kind of get panicked. Now I've never owned a Siberian, so I might be talking crazy talk------but this just seems to be what I have observed. My son DOES hope to own one someday! But I can not take the hair on the Siberians---------When my daughter grooms them for the shows, it looks like it is snowing hair. Sibes must be brushed a lot! When they blow coat, you can pull out Fist Fulls of hair. Anytime, You can pull out fist fulls of hair on them. After classes with the Siberians we frequently are pulling hair out of eyes, noses, hair just seems to fly thru the air. Also, the Siberian breeder, tells us that Sibes love to go out and HOWL, she frequently leaves them out at night, to prowl, howl etc. because it is cooler for them and they stay in in the air conditioning in the daytime. I hope I haven't made any Sibe owners mad--------Don't get me wrong, Siberian husky's are Beautiful-----But too much work for me Cudos to the Sibe breeders there is mucho grooming involved!
