I was sitting at a red light the other day and saw this "boy" walk by my car and the first thing to pop into my mind was "I remember when......" so I wanted to share a few and hopefully get a few other people to share. two_cents.gif So here goes:


I remember when wearing your ballcap sideways and your underwear hanging out of your sagging pants meant that you got to ride the short bus to school.

I remember when women wore their underwear UNDER their clothes, not as clothes.

I remember when hiphuggers,bell bottoms and neru(sp) jackets were "hip" the first time around. How come they don't look so cool now?
I remember when children were expected to behave in public and NOT draw attention to themselves or their parents.
I remember when you could ask for a glass of water and not be charged for it.

I remember when you could pump gas BEFORE paying for it.
I remember when you could leave your keys in your car and the windows down without worry.
I remember playing with metal jacks(toys)-LOL!....ouchee to step on too!
I remember when you HAD to get up to change the tv channel..along with adding foil to the "rabbit ears" antennae.

I remember not having a VCR or a microwave and thinking we were so cool when we finally got them, even if they were huge!!
I remember when no one wore helmets or pads out riding bikes in the neighborhood.
I remember watching the Smurfs and Fraggle Rock.
I remember tight rolling my jeans!! AHH!!
I remember layering my socks in different colors!

I remember work out clothes were leotards and tights-with or without belts!
(now its loose fitting shorts and tshirts that don't show body shape or sweat)
