i need some advise on what dry food is best

My 11 month old scarlet is very picky, She will eat a dry food for about a week and then she will quit eating it. I want to give her the best however I have tried many kinds and she refuses after a period of time. She does eat a can of pedigree once a day. Never any problem there. Please advise.

Visit www.dogfoodanalysis.com for some great info and reveiws on food. Once you find a good one,ditch the Pedigree and find a better canned too. If your pup becomes picky on a good food,give it 20 minutes to eat and take it away until the next meal-no treats either. Your dog may miss a meal or two but will learn to eat what you offer when its offered.

We have tried several dry foods...

and have finally found one that works well. Scooter eats Canidae and loves it! Firm stools, no gas (at least not yet and looks forward to his meals...

I just bought some Innova for Copper. She's 11 years old, but has been eating the same food for most of her life. She seemed to like it and didn't have a problem chewing it. They have it in puppy size as well.

You could try Canidae or Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. By the way, Your signature says your baby was born 8-18-06? I think you mean 05?

Nutro Max the lamb and rice forula is what we feed our boxers. They have both been on it since they were six months old and they have never turned down a meal. I heard that Innova is good for boxer as well

Sorry but Nutro Max is really low quality food. You could check out the above link for other options if you are ever interested in changing as well. As you said Innova however is an excellent food.

We just switched Hugo from Royal Canin to Wellness. He gets Wellness dry with some Wellness canned Chicken and Sweet Potato mixed in. I don't know what it is about sweet potatoes but he loves it! And his ear and foot infections are clearing up!
